NBC has announced their fourth season of their popular poker TV show, Poker After Dark, and there will be a few surprises in store. The biggest is a change to the format - the show will run as a high stakes cash game as opposed to a winner take all poker tournament. Rather than six players paying $20k to play, six players will bring a minimum of $100k to the table and play $200/ $400 No Limit Texas Holdem ring games. The first game of the new season will feature Phil Hellmuth and David Peat, as well as Allen Cunningham.
